The Corporation for Social and Educational Development (CSED) is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation organized for educational, religious, and charitable purposes. It promotes intellectual, moral, cultural and religious development of all persons irrespective of race, color, creed, nationality or financial resources.

CSED provides financial and management consulting support for a variety of women’s organizations and initiatives in the Midwest whose origins and missions are inspired by the Catholic Prelature of Opus Dei. These programs seek to help women understand the enormous transcendent value their work has in society.

For more information on Opus Dei, please visit the webpage at opusdei.org.

From the President

Thank you for expressing interest in CSED. Through the means offered by people like you, we are able to see a dramatic increase in the number of women inspired to lead lives united to God in the midst of the world, helping each other to do their ordinary work in an extraordinary way. CSED supports initiatives where young women develop into strong, ethical leaders; mothers and grandmothers generously transmit their experience to next generations; and women of all ages become engaged, articulate and well-formed citizens. Inspired by the Christian understanding of the person, CSED champions programs that help everyone live happier and more fulfilling lives.

We welcome you to come and see some of these sponsored programs, virtually through their web pages or in person by contacting the local centers.
